Troy Townsend MBE is the former Head of Player Engagement at Kick It Out, the leading anti-discrimination charity in English Football. Now running his own consultancy, Troy continues to share his expertise and insights on racism and discrimination, particularly within the football academy environment.

With over 30 years of experience in football, Troy specializes in delivering workshops for players of all ages, football staff, and parents or guardians. Each workshop is carefully tailored to its specific audience, offering valuable, up-to-date insights that reflect his deep understanding of the challenges faced in the football world. Drawing from his own experiences and his work supporting players through incidents of racism and discrimination, Troy helps create a more informed and empathetic football community. His sessions also provide professional development opportunities for staff and equip parents with the knowledge to support their child’s growth and development in an elite academy setting.
