Plan A: Engage, Enrich, Empower
Plan A: Engage, Enrich, Empower

Info & Guidance

The following information and guidelines will help you throughout the campaign process.

Campaign window

The campaign will run for 12 months starting 29 May 2026.

All elements of the campaign must take place within this period:

  1. Online plan submission and LFE approval.
  2. Campaign delivery.
  3. Reimbursement documents and creative submission.

Plan guidance

LFE's assessment of the online plan will consider:

  • Clarity of purpose and vision for the campaign and intended outcomes.
  • How well the campaign integrates with participants' wider education, development and support programme.
  • Whether access to practical experiences is offered as part of the campaign.
  • Evidence of reflective practices and links back to progress against personal development goals set by and for participants.
  • Clarity of what the funds will be spent on.
  • Clear start, duration and end dates.
  • How the campaign will be captured and documented.

Please note: one-off activities, events or purchases will not be approved unless shown to be part of a broader programme of work or longer-term campaign approach.

Reimbursement requirements

LFE will reimburse the club up to £2,000 upon:

  • Successful delivery of the campaign outlined in your submission and formally approved by LFE.
  • Receipt of a creative submission documenting the campaign and its outcomes.
  • Evidence of receipts and an invoice up to £2,000.

Reimbursement deadline

All documents must be sent to thilton@lfe.org.uk by 28 May 2027.

Creative submission guidance

LFE will produce a booklet of all the Plan A campaigns undertaken across a season for circulation. As part of your creative submission, please include:

  • Club and title, topic or theme.
  • Age groups involved and number of participants.
  • A 200–400 word summary of the campaign and its highlights.
  • Two or three images that best capture the campaign.
  • Video, where possible.

The format of the creative submission is entirely up to you. LFE will accept Word, PowerPoint or PDF files. Photos, videos or links can be embedded within these documents, or entire video files can be sent over.

If you have access to good media support, everything could also be included in a single video package—for example, someone narrating the campaign summary and highlights alongside footage of the activities and their impact. Be as creative as you like.

Receipts and invoice guidance

  1. Provide copies of receipts or invoices for the costs incurred.
  2. Raise an invoice to LFE (FAO Ted Hilton, referencing Plan A Campaign) corresponding to the total receipts or costs incurred, up to a maximum of £2,000.
